Policy


So, what are the rules at Worldwide Virtual? In short there are only a few. We have chosen not to incorporate any of the usual rules for our pilots to be able to have as much fun as possible. You aren't restricted to what type of aircraft you can fly based on your hours/experience and you don't even have to fly the aircraft listed. In fact, the Kona Airlines Virtual caters for all types of pilots. If you want realism you can of course fly the scheduled routes with the correct aircraft, and we have some pilots who like this. We also have other pilots who prefer to fly a 747 or a Cessna on a route designated for a 737. This is fine as well. The only thing you need to do is enjoy the experience of flying in the comfort of your own home. The only policies we have that affect our pilots is the inactivity policy and the commonsense rules that we all should abide by in the online world.


Rules


There are only a few "common sense" rules which we all should abide by: have fun and respect other pilots. Respecting other pilots extends throughout the site including our discord, online events, or comments to others thru our site. Our administrators have the right to suspend membership or parts thereof at any time that members are found to be aggressive, rude, intimidating, forceful, argumentative or disrespectful to other members. Additionally, our members have the right to suspend memberships should there be an abuse of the system such as excessive manual PIREPs, exploitation of "loop-holes", or any other activity that may not be accepted in such an environment. Membership of Kona Airlines Virtual is a privilege not a right. As for inactivity, of course every Virtual Airline needs a way to determine when people have simply left without telling us. In saying this, there is a minimum PIREP policy, that being, file one PIREP every three months and you won't be deleted. Pretty much all Virtual Airline's require at least one PIREP a month (some even require one a week). Here we have chosen one every three months which we think is generous and considers the busy lives that we all lead. If you require any more time, please send us an email and we will make every effort to work with you.
